First Christian Church will be accepting Shoe Boxes, Donations, and Supplies to make this year our best year ever. We want to encourage everyone in the Church to be involved. Let’s see if we can have 1,000 boxes ready for delivery on November 15th.
Please call the Church office for details. Tell your friends, family, co-workers to get involved and watch how one shoebox can change the world. Please pray for Operation Christmas Child and the young children that will be exposed to the love of Jesus Christ.

Sunday Service Schedule: Traditional Service 8:30 Sunday School 9:30 Contemporary Service 10:30
We would like to welcome you to First Christian Church, Disciples of Christ. We are located at 1221 Park Avenue in Burlington, Iowa. We invite you to worship with us. Our “Traditional Service” starts at 8:30. Our Sunday School Hour starts at 9:30 with many small group options for adults and children to participate in. After our Sunday School Hour we invite you to our Contemporary Worship Service also known as (WOW) or Wide Open Worship.
Our Pastor’s Tom Smith, Dean Benton, and Youth Pastor Justin Livingston encourage you to come to First Christian Church and feel welcomed to a Bible believing church that wants to show the love of Jesus Christ.

Email Prayer Chain:
One of the most important things we can do as a church is to lift up to the Lord the needs and concerns of His family. Would you join us in a symphony of prayer – requiring very little time – in a manner that is convenient to so many of us via Email. Here’s how it works, you send us your email address, and state that you want to join the “Email Prayer Team.” Then 3 to 4 times a month we will send you an email asking for the team members to offer a short prayer for someone in our church, or closely connected to someone in our church. We are asking that ALL existing Email Prayer Team Members send us your email, so that we have your most recent address. Please send your email to secretary@brlfcc.org
